White Jewelry Boxes

White jewelry boxes are for women of all ages.

If you're like me, you have a ton of jewelry. I love earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, pins, barrettes, anklets, if it's shiny and sparkly, I pretty much have to have it.

But finding somewhere to put my collection can sometimes be a pain. If I just throw pieces into a hat box or a drawer, I end up losing earrings and other things. My necklaces and other chains get all tangled.

I hate spending my morning trying to figure out the puzzle that IS the necklace that I HAVE to wear with this outfit. So I came up with the perfect solution, I went out and bought a couple gorgeous white jewelry boxes!

I like the color white because it's classy and feminine. I'm not a “pink” girl, and while I do like black occasionally, I felt that they would look too “heavy” sitting on my dressers. And why two?

Well the obvious answer is because I have so much jewelry! But I also thought two would balance each other out well in my room. You know, kinda like book ends.

Not to mention that it makes organizing that much easier. The most space and options you have the better organized you'll be.

I just moved from an apartment where I had one decent size closet in my bedroom. It definitely could have been bigger, but I was thankful that it wasn't any smaller. Anyway, sure all my clothes fit inside, but it was very snug and I'd “lose” things in there all the time.

My new place has TWO walk in closets so now I can see pretty much all of my clothes and have them organized so well, that I know where every single shirt is. So with my two white jewelry boxes, I'm able to do the same thing with my jewelry.

If you don't see it, you won't wear it. That's a total rule of thumb. That's another really good thing about getting white jewelry boxes, the light color (I know white isn't really a “color”, but give me a break), allows all your pieces to really pop! Wood and other dark colored boxes tend to mute and suck your jewelry into a black hole.

Bouncing off that bright gorgeous white, you'll be able to find whatever it is you want to wear. Keep your “rings” (earrings and rings) in one jewelry box, and then keep your bracelets and necklaces in the other one. You're gonna love your new white jewelry boxes.

You can find some wonderful jewelry boxes at J.C. Penney and Pottery Barn Kids.
